The retro shelf — 1995-96 and the play-off side
The 1995-96 centenary Pony shirt is the one collectors ask for, and the 2005 play-off final shirt is the one that got West Ham back into the Premier League. Both are here with the names that belong to them.
Kids and infant kits
Kids shirts, infant mini kits and baby sizes, same claret and blue, same printing. If you are between age bands, take the larger one.
West Ham in 2026/27: a promotion season, not a Premier League one
It is worth being blunt about where this club is. West Ham finished 18th in the Premier League in 2025/26 with 39 points and went down. The board kept Nuno Espirito Santo, cut season ticket prices by up to 30 per cent, and set promotion as the only acceptable outcome. Nuno has done this before: he won the Championship with Wolves on 99 points in 2017/18. That is the context every claret and blue shirt on this page sits in.
The Academy of Football is not a marketing line
West Ham's identity was built in a youth system, not a trophy cabinet. Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst and Martin Peters came through it and all three started England's 1966 World Cup final. The tradition continued through Frank Lampard, Rio Ferdinand, Joe Cole, Michael Carrick and Declan Rice. It is the single most distinctive thing about the club, and it is why a West Ham shirt reads differently from a shirt belonging to a club that simply bought its success.
Claret and blue, and the shirts that carry it
The home shirt has been claret body with sky blue sleeves for most of a century, and it is one of the few kit identities in English football that has never needed a rebrand. The away and third shirts are where the club takes risks. Between the two, there is enough range here for a first shirt and a fifth.
Prague 2023, and why that night still sells shirts
West Ham beat Fiorentina 2-1 in Prague to win the 2023 Europa Conference League - the club's first European trophy in 58 years. For a support that had spent decades being told it was a cup club that could not win cups, that night reset something. Shirts from that run are still the ones people ask for.
What a West Ham shirt actually signals
Supporting West Ham is not a bet on winning. It is a choice about how you want to watch football. The supporters have spent years being the loudest argument against their own ownership while still filling a 62,500-seat stadium. Wear the shirt and you are signing up for the argument, not the trophy parade.
Keep it claret and blue — care guide
Wash cold and inside out, hang to dry, and keep the iron away from any printed name and number. Sponsor and crest prints are the first things heat damages.
