About The Vault Journal - Our Jersey Editorial Team

ABOUT THE AUTHORS

The Vault Journal Editorial Team

Every guide on this site is written and maintained by the team that sources, checks and ships the jerseys. We are not a remote content desk — we handle the stock, so what we publish is what we actually see.

Who writes this

The Vault Journal is the editorial arm of Fan Kits Vault. Our writers are the same people who buy in the stock, inspect deliveries, measure garments and answer customer sizing questions every day. That is deliberate: the questions we get asked in support tickets are the questions we turn into guides.

Concretely, the team works across:

  • Sourcing and buying — selecting fan edition jerseys across six leagues and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Quality control — checking name sets, stitched versus printed detailing, crest alignment and fabric weight on arrival.
  • Sizing measurement — flat-measuring chest, length and sleeve on garments from each league, because the same "M" is not the same shirt.
  • Customer support — returns, exchanges and the sizing questions that tell us where our guides are still unclear.

What we can and cannot claim

We sell fan edition and replica jerseys. We are not an official club or league store, and we do not describe our stock as authentic, official or licensed merchandise. When a guide compares "fan edition" with "replica" or "custom", those words mean exactly what our product pages say they mean — nothing more.

Why this matters for you: a lot of jersey content online is written to rank rather than to help. Ours is written by people who have to answer for it — if a sizing guide is wrong, our support desk hears about it the next day.

How we source and verify facts

For anything outside our own stock — fixtures, squad news, player records, release dates — we work from primary sources: competition organisers, club and league announcements, and national federation releases. Where a detail is still developing, we say so in the article rather than stating it as settled. Our full process, including how we handle corrections and AI assistance, is published in our editorial policy.

Contact

Spotted an error, or want to suggest a guide? The fastest route is the contact page — corrections reach the same team that wrote the piece, and we update the article rather than quietly deleting it.
